Recruitment for the next edition of the JAZZiNSPIRACJE competition as part of the 14th Lublin Jazz Festival has ended!
Three bands qualified for the finals, which will present themselves on the stage of the 14th Lublin Jazz Festival on July 12, 2023
19:00 – Wojtek Ulanowski Quartet
20:00 – Karolina Blachnia Quartet
21:00 – AKKC
The aim of the competition is to promote valuable music projects and young musicians inspired by jazz in their work, as well as to enable them to release their debut album.
The competition is divided into two stages:
Stage one – submitting applications (by the end of May 31, 2023), their evaluation by the Committee, and selection of Performers (by the end of June 7, 2023) who will present their music program during the 14th Lublin Jazz Festival.
The second stage – competition concerts of the Performers as part of the 14th Lublin Jazz Festival, their evaluation and selection of the winners of the Competition. Concerts are planned for July 12, 2023.
The main prize in the JAZZiNSPIRACJE competition as part of the 13th Lublin Jazz Festival, for the
freshness and maturity in creating themes, a sense of composition, a coherent and thoughtful music program, which bodes well for the first release, went to the music group: superminimalism
However, a distinction for inspiring stage energy, juggling with conventions, and the lively reaction of the audience
goes to the music group: Kosmos
There were three music groups in this year’s final of the JAZZiNSPIRACJE competition:

Stage two – performers’ competition concerts as part of the 13th Lublin Jazz Festival at Wirydarz of the Cultural Center in Lublin, their evaluation and selection of the winners of the Competition. The concerts took place on July 13, 2022.
