lublinjazz.pl informs about musical events inspired by jazz and improvised music, organized by the Impresariat office of the Centre for Culture in Lublin.
The impresariat was established in 1991 simultaneously with the establishment of the Centre for Culture in Lublin. For over three decades of activity, Impresariat has organized thousands of various artistic events: musical, educational, as well as theater, cabaret and those combining various disciplines. Since 2009, Impresariat has been organizing the Lublin Jazz Festival – the largest international event in this region, popularizing broadly understood jazz and improvised music. The festival was brought to life by Barbara Luszawska (1958-2022), a well-known cultural animator in Lublin.
With the return to the new, renovated headquarters of the Centre for Culture in 2013, the Impresariat’s activities expanded to include new ventures related to musical culture and its promotion.
