The Philipp Jagschitz Trio presents a program containing original tunes by the band members as well as on stage-improvisations.

Their music covers a broad spectrum, ranging from modern jazz and conventional tunes  to modal and free excursions, odd meter grooves and spacey atmospheres.

Matthias Pichler on bass and his brother Andreas Pichler on drums – both known for their collaboration with Wolfgang Muthspiel – are a unique rhythm section and add something special to every track. The instrumentation of piano, bass and drums is the canvas for the application of a palette of colors, allowing the band to paint a contemporary picture of this classic format.
