“SOFA SOUNDS” is a series of musical meetings at the Undergound of Centre fo Culture in Lublin, where we will hear the premiere concerts in a climate of experimental music, among others, with downtempo, trip hop, acid jazz, soul, indie rock, alternative pop, ambient sound future.
New live music, cozy place, unique atmosphere.

Michael Lewicki is a Warsaw producer who appeared on the music scene almost a decade ago, creating under the nickname Maed. Since then, the musician was involved in several projects, hiding under various aliases, showing the audience a wide range of musical fascinations and still can not focus only on one type of music, the most important project is the solo. At full name Michael Lewicki creates music in which mixes wonky, dub-techno, future garage and even broken beat. In 2015 his debut album came up. The album “Ton” has gained a lot of positive press feedback among European reviewers and you could listen to it, among others, on BBC Radio1. However, Lewicki-studio producer and Lewicki-performer are two different worlds. While in the studio, he is responsible for every single sound, reaching his recordings during concerts it becomes part of the band that even certain limits of compositions created by the artist are based really on the freedom of improvisation.

The full band performs less than six months, but already had opportunity to support the big names  of music scene as Flying Lotus, Nosaj Thing or Skalpel.
