Lublin Jazz Festival

They met in 2015, invited by pianist and composer Satoko Fujii to participate in the Satoko Fujii Orchestra Berlin project. A few concerts (and two orchestra albums) later, the saxophonist from Krakow and the percussionist from Lille had their first opportunity to improvise as a duo, during Peter’s solo tour, at Krakow’s Baza club in the fall of 2019. The meeting proved shockingly successful (both have a taste for unrestricted freedom, sound exploration and sonic experimentation) and demanded an urgent follow-up. Although concert plans were thwarted by a pandemic, they managed to record an album in Lille in February 2021. The duo toured Poland, France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Belgium and Spain. The album YOU NEVER KNOW was released by the French publishing house Circum-Disc in October 2021. Since 2023, the two have also played in a woo trio (with pianist Christine Wodrascka).
