Lublin Jazz Festival

Lonker See is a Tricity quartet, which was first met in the recording studio in 2016. The result of this meeting is the band’s first album titled “Split Image” released by MITW. Already on the first disc you can see what is most important for Lonker See – the sound and own style, which arises at the interface between the four musical personalities that make up the LS. Joanna Kucharska (Bass, vocals), Bartosz Boro Borowski (Guitars) Michał Gos (Drums) and Tomasz Gadecki (Saxophones) create spatial music that intrigues, mesmerizes and draws the listener into a wide spectrum of musical genres. You can hear space rock, psychedelia, jazz, free jazz or ambient music. Long forms full of improvised elements are intertwined here with very specific melodies and decisive grooves, and tension is built by skilful manipulation of dynamics and emotions. In 2018, the album “One Eye Sees Red” was very well received in Poland and around the world by the Instant Classic, which initiated the interest of the band in the country’s foreigners. LS played very well received concerts in Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands, both at festival and local stages.
