Lublin Jazz Festival

Lublin Jazz Festival has been contributing to the jazz scene for years, becoming a space for artists who push the boundaries of the genre.

An evening that crosses the boundaries of genres, forms and sounds. Two bands, two approaches to the avant-garde, one ticket – one experience that will stay with you for a long time.

Dust Bunny is an energetic duo formed by Marta Warelis (synthesizers, organ) and Nasim Lopez-Palcios Navarro (drums, electronics). Their music is stretched between progressive rock, noise and free jazz – full of pulsating tensions and surprising transformations. Like a fire that is constantly transforming, Dust Bunny takes listeners on a journey through a sonic landscape where nothing is constant and every moment can be the beginning of something new.

The Otomo Yoshihide New Jazz Quintet is an ensemble that has revolutionized the Japanese improvised scene, combining the heritage of free jazz with a modern approach to form and sound. Founded by the legendary Otomo Yoshihide – guitarist, turntablist and composer – the project combines energetic improvisation, complex arrangements and unexpected sonic interventions. The group has released acclaimed albums Flutter, Live, ONJQ Live in Lisbon and Out to Lunch, reinterpreting the work of Eric Dolphy and Charles Mingus, among others. Otomo Yoshihide has collaborated with artists such as Christian Marclay, John Zorn, Jim O’Rourke, Sachiko M and Eye Yamatsuka, constantly crossing the boundaries between jazz, experimental and noise music.
