12. Lublin Jazz Festival | Emil Miszk & The Sonic Syndicate (PL)

An octet composed of leading artists of the young generation in Poland, led by a trumpeter and composer associated with the Tri-City scene – Emil Miszk. Extremely rare nowadays an opportunity to hear a jazz band with such a wide and strong sounding brass section, supported by two harmonic instruments. The music of the octet is colorful and multidimensional, arranged with a claw and taste. The first album “Don’t Hesitate!” was awarded Fryderyk 2019 in the Jazz Debut of the Year category. During the concert, the band will present the latest release “Artificial Stupidity” – Emil Miszk and The Sonic Syndicate in version 2.0. A breath of fresh and unpretentious jazz from the seaside.

Emil Miszk – trumpet / Piotr Chęcki – tenor sax / Jakub Klemensiewicz – baritone sax / Paweł Niewiadomski – trombone / Michał Zienkowski – guitar / Wojciech Wojda – piano / Konrad Żołnierek – double bass / Sławek Koryzno – drums
