Lublin Jazz Festival

Concert of the finalists of the “JAZZiNSPIRACJE” competition, the aim of which is to promote valuable musical projects, musicians inspired by jazz in their work, and to enable them to release their debut album and music video. The specificity of the competition is openness to the stylistic diversity of the submitted projects.
The following bands qualified for the concert:

Aga Gruczek Trio

Three friends who meet while working on various projects of the Warsaw and Lodz music scene, which formed a band on the initiative of the leader. It is composed of:

Aga Gruczek – piano / Michał Aftyka – double bass / Kacper Majewski – drums

Filip Żółtowski Quartet

A quartet founded by Filip Żółtowski in Gdańsk, which includes students and graduates of the Academy of Music. Stanisław Moniuszko in Gdańsk:

Filip Żółtowski – trumpet / Szymon Zawodny – sax / Mikołaj Stańko – drums / Wojciech Wojda – piano

Jopek / Klemensiewicz

a piano-saxophone duo, thanks to which jazz music gets a new dimension. The band creates their own material based on improvised music in combination with impressionist, classical and Polish folk music:

MION

A trio whose driving force and author of the compositions is Rafał Rokicki. The team consists of students of Frederic Chopin in Warsaw.
