Manu Katché ‘Unstatic’ at 8 Lublin Jazz Festival

We are pleased to announce that during the 8 edition of the Lublin Jazz Festival will play Manu Katché with his new project ‘Unstatic.’

Manu Katché – French musician specializing in playing percussion instruments, composer, singer, songwriter and music producer. He is a star in his native France – among others, as the most fierce juror of the local version of American Idol. It is also an important figure in the international pop scene – from the album “So” for 12 consecutive albums by Peter Gabriel, collaboration with Sting, Joni Mitchell, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Tori Amos or Tracy Chapman. Finally, there is one of the more recognizable drummers in modern jazz. Since 2005, successfully implements own jazz projects in one of the most prestigious  labels in the world – ECM.

At the concert we will hear compositions from his latest album ‘Unstatic.’ Manu Katché occurs alongside saxophonist Tore Brunborg, trumpeter Luca Aquino, pianist Jim Watson and Ellen Wang on the electric stic uprising bass.
