Bill Evans is a world-class saxophonist and composer. He is called a real musician of the renaissance of the 21st century. He learned to play the saxophone with Dave Liebman. At the age of 19, he became a musician of Miles Davis band, recording 6 albums with him. Miles Davis talked about him, “he’s one of the greatest musicians I’ve ever met.” He also collaborated with Herbie Hancock, Mick Jagger, Willie Nelson, Richard Bon, Randy Brecker, Marcus Miller, John Scofield, Mike Stern and others. Evans also played as a member of the cult band “Elements”, an American fusion jazz group founded by musicians Pat Metheny: Mark Egan and Danny Gottlieb. Evans music is fusion jazz based on a saxophone with R’n’B and bluegrass. Funk and jazz mix with rock, rhythm and groove. The Petite Blonde project was created in 1992, the idea was to create a team of like-minded musicians and make the first big solo tour in Europe with the slogan “no holds barred”. After 25 years Bill Evans appoints the project again under the same name. The concert in Lublin will be the only in Poland and at the same time opening the European tour of the artist.
