JAZZ NOT WAR – an exhibition of posters by the finalists of the International Poster Competition
Exhibition of posters of the finalists of the 4th International Poster Competition We Want Jazz, which in 2022 was held under the slogan JAZZ NOT WAR.
The exhibition will show 35 posters that won the competition, as well as those qualified for the final and the final exhibition, which took place in autumn 2022 in Warsaw. Among the others, posters by the winners of the competition, Anna Black from Ukraine and two Polish women: Zofia Klajs and Agnieszka Srokosz, as well as artists from many countries, i.e. Switzerland, Uruguay, China, Iran and Belarus.
The competition, organized by the Foundation for the Popularization of Jazz Music EuroJAZZ, the publisher of JazzPRESS and RadioJAZZ.FM, has been held for four years. The chairman of the jury of the competition is prof. Lech Majewski, graphic designer, poster artist, head of the Department of Visual Communication at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, co-creator of the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw.
