12. Lublin Jazz Festival | Piotr Baron Quintet – „Wodecki Jazz” (PL)

Unique compositions by Zbigniew Wodecki, incl. “Start with Bach”, “Isolde”, “I like to go back to where I was”, “I want to see the world with you”, melodies that are rooted in polish cultural identity are interpreted by jazz masters. Piotr Baron showed great respect for Wodecki’s music, which is why all the original melodies are present, played with a jazz feeling, with only arrangement flavors. At the same time, Wodecki’s music is a great starting point for improvisation, which the great musicians of Baron’s band skillfully use.
