LUBLIN JAZZ FESTIVAL: FOREVER FORWARD
This year, jazz enthusiasts can look forward to an exceptionally intense musical experience – the Lublin Jazz Festival will take place in three installments: in May, July, and at the turn of August and September.
As always, the festival will bring together outstanding artists from Poland and abroad on a single stage. Among the invited musicians are world-renowned names such as Otomo Yoshihide, Marc Ribot, Trevor Watts, and Kuba Więcek – recipient of the 2025 Polityka Passport award.
One of the pillars of the festival is the promotion of innovative ideas and young talents. That’s why the JAZZiNSPIRACJE competition remains such an important element of the event – created for artists who draw inspiration from jazz while searching for their own artistic language. One of the prizes is the opportunity to release a debut album.
The strength of this concept is best demonstrated by the success of the band superminimalism, winners of JAZZiNSPIRACJE, whose album was nominated for the 2024 Fryderyk Award in the category Phonographic Debut of the Year / Jazz. This is the best proof that the Lublin Jazz Festival not only celebrates music but also genuinely supports the development of the young jazz scene.
