The Tomasz Chyła Quintet is a Gdańsk-based jazz band led by violinist Tomasz Chyła, known for its energetic, intense sound that blends jazz, rock, and improvised music. For years, the group has been developing its own distinctive style based on riffs, strong rhythms, and collective improvisation, moving away from classical jazz forms in favor of a denser, rock-inspired drama. The band’s consistent lineup fosters exceptional cohesion and stage chemistry, which translates into powerful live energy and bold musical choices. The band will be promoting their latest album, “It’s Not a Fake, It’s a Replica.”
