“Hidden Sounds” trio Jachna / Mazurkiewicz / Buhl were registered in September 2015 Bydgoszcz Synagogue in Fordon. The album contains a collection of improvised compositions, if found in the walls of the old destroyed Synagogue, which today Foundation Kazimierz Wielki University is trying to renew and revitalize the various artistic activities. Rhythmic, almost shamanic percussion of Jacek Buhl combined with warm, dense phrasing of Jacek Mazurkiewicz bass completes lightly soiled, but also lyrical trumpet sound of Wojciech Jachna. This material is full of rest, silent, lyrical and melancholy places, keeping an interesting internal structure.
